steyr.info: Christmas Post Office

Since 1950 Christmas greetings can be sent via the Christkindl Christmas post office A-4411. In the early years its popular special postmark was stamped on 42,000 letters and postcards. The demand steadily increased and today 16 employees are needed to hand stamp the letters and cards arriving from all over the world. Last season, already 2 million letters were sent from the Christkindl post office at the Baumgartner Christkindl Inn.
