The Enns river has always been used as a waterway, in former times rafts and barges passed down the river, today excursion ships run by Aigner family make this alpine foreland riverscape accessible.

Enjoy the unique landscape as seen from the river. Starting off from the old raft harbour at the Enns quay, the ship will carry you through Steyr's romantix Old Town past the Michaelerkirche church downstream to Haidershofen/Staning hydropower station. Depending on the desired speed - more leisurely or at a somewhat faster pace - the trip will take 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
