In 2002, paper tapestries dating back to the 19th century were discovered in the northern wing near the Lamberg Castle Library and have been lovingly restored over the past years. Tapestries from the classicistic period are today very rarely seen in Europe. Three walls of the room, in former times a prince's room, show historic views of towns and various buildings formerly in the possession of the Lamberg Counts. (Quenghof, Jägerhaus, Forsthaus)
The tapestry room can only be visited by joining a guided tour. It is a bookable venue for exclusive events.
