In the summer of 2012 the Steyr Music Festival with its artistic director Kons. Karl-Michael Ebner again delights the visitors and guests by presenting a spectacular and diverse programme for young and old.

The open air opera productions such as W.A. Mozart's “Magic Flute“ in 2005, G. Verdi's “La Traviata“ in 2006, M. Schönberg's “Les Miserables“ in 2007 (performed for the first time in Upper Austria), G. Puccini's “Madama Butterfly“ in 2008, “Carmen” by George Bizet in 2009, "Don Giovanni" by W.A. Mozart or last year's "Der Watzmann ruft!" by Manfred O. Tauchen all of which were enthusiastically received both by the audience and the press, are proof of the successful artistic creativity of the Steyr Music Festival's organisation team.
