Since about 1500 the Weißenbachtal valley has been a centre of forestry, even before the first settlers arrived. For centuries, man's influence has shaped the valley's forest landscape. During this guided hiking tour you will learn about the changes within the forest, from the old forests of the charburners to the managed forests and natural forests in the Kalkalpen National Park. Hike duration approx. 2.5 hrs
