Pöttmesser nativity scene in the Christkindl parsonage

one of the world’s largest nativity scenes This oriental landscape nativity scene with a floor space of 58 m2 provides sufficient room to accommodate the 778 up to 30 cm high, superbly carved and dressed figures of the South Tyrolese Ferdinand Pöttmesser (1895 - 1977). The landscape mountain was added with loving care at a later date by Josef Seidl, a Steyr citizen.
