Franz Schubert's music forms the heart of this concert series. "Schubert goes Brass" is performed by the Gardemusik Vienna and regional bands, a "PICturesque Winter Journey" with Akiko Nakajima & Maler in the Alte Theater Steyr. With the accompanying three culinary evenings in Steyr inns, director Kons. Karl-Michael Ebner presents Schubert's music in a rather unconventional way, consciously setting a counterpoint to classical Schubert music festivals.
