Arts and crafts, 30 years Advent in Sierning special exhibition, concerts in the castle and the St. Stephan parish church

The elegant ambience of the Renaissance castle evokes the true Christmas spirit. For the 30-year jubilee the castle courtyard has been given a new look and we look forward to welcoming many visitors and exquisite exhibitors.

Those arriving by bus will appreciate the comfort of the large bus terminal. Far removed from hectic everyday life, a visit to the more than 1200 year old Sierning is bound to be a special experience. "Living" handicrafts right next to designer jewellery, a variety of high-grade materials converted into works of art both large and small - the pre-Christmas season could be more beautiful. Regional delicacies are offered in the castle courtyard as well as in the castle cellar.

Bus tip: You will find that the best time to visit the fair will be between 10.00 am and and 2pm. Families are warmly welcome. We will gladly make all necessary arrangements for your lunch break.

Local Advent fair, carefree and multifaceted
The Advent exhibition takes place in the more than 100-year old primary school. In the new local square the lively booth fair has become a popular pre-Christmas meeting place.

Christmas on the Hofer seminar farm

In an idyllic and peaceful atmosphere we welcome the Advent season! The yearly event “Christmas on the farm” from 20 November - 8 December allows you to indulge in exquisite ewe's milk chocolate, fragrant ewe's milk soap and stylish decorations by candlelight and relaxing music! Sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee, a piece of ewe's milk chocolate and freshly baked Christmas cookies. And enjoy, just for enjoyment's sake the peaceful Christmas season …
